Our RV did not come with a spare tire and this was a concern to us. We wanted to make it easier for road side assistance to help us so we didn’t have to wait on the side of the road for hours while they looked for a replacement tire for us.
This kit fit nicely in the rear of the rv by the generator. we didn’t need to use the extension. DO NOT use a power tool to raise and lower the tire as you will break it (know this from experience).
